Real Sociedad’s current coach has, behind Raúl and Zubizarreta, the third most professional appearences in Spanish fottball. He appeared in 543 games over 19 seasons spent with Atlético de Madrid, Barcelona, Celta de Vigo, and Real Valladolid where he made both his debut and last professional appearance. He was a full international player with the Spanish selection, La Roja, and a European Champion with FC Barcelona in 1992.
An ex-professional footballer from León, Rodríguez stood out as a left back with Real Valladolid, Atlético de Madrid, Valencia, and FC Barcelona where he was Eusebio’s teammate on the European Championship winning squad of 1992. An international team coach, he has also been part of the coaching staff with Real Valladolid.
Former footballer with Real Valladolid, Racing de Santander, Burgos, Numancia, and Palencia, Dr. López Moreno is the current head of medical services with Real Valladolid.
